Jackbox is great, and it costs money, needs a host computer or console, and puts the game on one shared screen. Joypod is 8 party games that run in the browser, free for everyone, with the whole game on every player's own phone.

Honesty section, because it matters: Jackbox has a decade of packs, including drawing games, trivia with thousands of questions, and audience play for huge streams, all with real voice acting and polish. If your group is always on one couch in front of one TV, it earns its price.
Joypod is for the other nights: nobody wants to buy or install anything, the group is split across cities, someone is on a laptop and someone else is on a five year old phone, or the game night is starting right now. Free, instant, and on every phone.

Yes. All 8 games on Joypod are free, for every player, with no accounts and no downloads. Jackbox charges for each party pack and only the host needs to own it; Joypod charges nobody anything.
No. Jackbox puts the game on one shared screen and uses phones as controllers. Joypod puts the whole game on every player's own phone, including secret roles, words, and targets, so no TV or screen sharing is ever needed.
One player creates a room and gets a 4 letter code. Everyone else opens joypod.app, enters the code and a name, and they are in, usually in under 30 seconds. The host can also share a tap to join link. The room stays together across games, so the group picks the next game from the lobby without rejoining.
Yes. Every Joypod game is built to work with the group in a voice or video call, because each phone carries its own private information. There is no shared screen to stream and nothing to install, which makes Joypod a natural fit for long distance game nights and remote teams.
It depends on the game: most Joypod games play with up to 10 people, and several work with as few as 2. Each game in the list above shows its player range.
